I ,VI ,II,V inversions
Here's some neat inversions based on Amaj7 . I'm ripping these directly from Arnie Berle , and his book " Chords and Progressions for Jazz & popular Guitar". I highly recomend this book. It's filled w/ tons of inversions and progressions .
This one is based in a I,VI,II,V in A maj7. It works for four to the floor comping , tremolo laded backup , thumb style , pick style, but it works great when playing w/ someone who's hogging the root note!!! None of these grips use the root note in the Bass. The chords are ; Amaj7 , F#m7 , Bm7, E7 . ----------------------------------------------------------- ----9----------7---------10--------9--------------------- ----9----------9---------11--------9--------------------- -----7----------7---------9--------9--------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------- ----9----------9---------10--------10------------------- CHEERS!!!
