Roxanne ( blame it on my CE-2 !!!)

I thought I'd try somthing a little bit different . Reading the thread @ Andy Summers , I decided to tab some Police stuff. Sure it ain't Mr. Mason , or Mr. Gatton , but I thought it might be a cool change of pace.
I will not however , accept any responsibility for the inevitable burst of Edith Bunker like falsetto that will bellow forth from any bystander who hears you play this ; "RAAAAAAAAXXXE ANNNNE" (LOL)
The intro chords are essentially the verses too. Use downstrokes , and play em' staccato. Strum each chord 4 times.
The chords are ; Gminor > F sus > Eflat maj7 >Dm7 >Cm7>Fsus > Gminor. Let the last Gminor ring out.

---3-----2-----7-----5-----3-----2-----3--------------

For an 80's sound , I've got my CS-3 set at 12:00 for everything. The CE-2 is set > Rate 11:00 > Depth 3:00. I'm using the bridge pup on my Tele.
Sure , you guys probably wouldn't be caught dead playing this stuff , but , I've been asked for this kinda stuff more and more often as of late. I'm in my early 30's and this was Top 40 when I was in my "yoot". I sincerely hope the whole "Neon Green " thing stays in the past , but every now and then I'll find myself playing some INXS or somthing .
Please don't flame me too much!!! (LOL)
CHEERS!!!

That's pretty much what he played in the video (except he always ends on G7sus4, not Gm), but it's not what's on the record. Here are the chord shapes he used (pluck all except the strummed G7sus4):

Gm F Ebmaj7 Dm7 Cm7 F G7sus4

x------x------x-------x------x------x------3
8------6------6------10-----8------6------3
7------5------7------10-----8------5------5
8------7------8------10-----8------7------3
x------x ------x-------x------x------x------5
x------x ------x ------x------x------x------3

great tune!

I like this one :D
wish I still had my CE2 :(
I was playin along with the song and I was having a hard time with the second chord.
This is how I think he may be doing it.
