Gatton Chicken Pickin Lick
Here's a Gatton chickin pickin lick similar to one off the Redneck Jazz album. You'd use it on a the V-IV part of a blues type progression in A like Workin Man Blues. I'll put up a soundclip tonight, otherwise it's kinda hard to understand. The (X) means rest your fingers over those frets while not pressing down and do a downstroke, then upstroke the next note. You'll see when you hear it.
