Sugar-Free Tab & Music 101 is great because...

Sugar-Free Tab & Music 101 is great because on a lazy Sunday afternoon, I can pull up a chair, tune up the Tele, and scroll through the posts and learn a bunch o' hot licks.

I love it almost as much as listening to Clarence White, which I'm doing as I write this.

Must be "Lover of the Bayou"

that you're listening to, judging by your handle. Yes, Sugar Free101 has some great tabs and tips. Kudos to Cheesecaster, Ward, Ian and the many others who take the time to contribute here. Your efforts are appreciated!

I must admit...I've been really lax w/ posting tabs lately....been a bit dry!!! To be honest...I'm not sure what to tab !!! I really have no clue what licks are cool enough to post . Any suggestions?? Styles ?? Chords?? Beginner , intermediate??? I've been too occupied w/ tweakin my effects !!!

Here's a suggestion for you Ian (and anyone else). How about "Telefied" classic rock licks...what I mean is classic rock licks with country bends and other Tele tricks thrown in as modificiations to the standard riff.

Just an idea.

Here's an unrelated bit o' foolishness that won't surprise anyone here as being new or original, but I use it sometimes and it does turn heads.

E Chord. Let all notes sustain.

E---------------------------12*---------
B----------(muted by G string bend)---
G-----------------11^13---------------
D-----------14-------------------------
A-------14-----------------------------
E----0----------------------------------

The 12* is a harmonic. Is there a TDPRI standard notation for harmonics?

Edited to fix my crappy tabbing. Is that correct, low strings on bottom of tab?
