noodling last night came up with this.....
i was mucking about with my Strat (its a once or twice a year thing) noodling around with SRV Lenny, i'm sure most of ya know it.
i really like that 6th voicing .... ------------------------------ ----------5------------------- ----------6------------------- ----------4------------------- ------------------------------- ----------5-------------------- so i was trying to turn it sideways and lead into some blues licks like... -------------------------------- -------5----------------sl-5----- -----------6------------sl-6---- ----4----------4---7---------7---- --------------------------------- --5----------------------------- the first 4 notes should ring into eachother, its an arpegio i guess , more melodic than climbing up the blues scale. have fun Martin ps: we should figure out a way to show rythums with our tabs any ideas?? |

Check out SRV's Lenny...
He does some very cool stuff in that song based on that chord. I'm not sure if it's the same voicing. John Mayer also does a super version of it with that voicing.
