McCartney's "My Love" solo

anybody got the tab for the sweet solo on paul mccartney's "my love"...sappy song, but nice lead guitar work in the middle. need help 'cause i can't figure it out on my own...thanks in advance.

great solo...i'm working on learning it from your tab (which is again on the money)...just gotta work on the timing, tone and nuances, but i'm getting there. soon as you hit those first four notes...you know this is it! great stuff, getbent.

by the way the solo was done by Henry McCullough who was in Wings for a short time, and the "My Love" piece is his claim to fame. the story goes that Paul was going to show him exactly what to play, by Henry said he "had a little something worked up", played it for McCartney, who obviously knew a good thing when he heard it, and the solo stuck.

don't want to get greedy and ask for something else just now. want to work on this one and the previously posted ronstadt tune for a while.

unless you just want to and need something to tackle.

in which case, how about Harrison's very brief little solo in "all you need is love"?

thanks for the info on the solo... when I saw mccartney on the wings over america tour he had Jimmy Mccullough in the band... I wonder if they are related... he was to my 16 year old ears pretty great!

by the way, paul's later guitarist Jimmy was McCulloch with a "ch" at the end and Henry's last name ends with "gh", so i guess they're not related.

Thanks.. based on the vid I changed where he plays 4 notes... simplifies it.. same note just in the simpler position...

Sweet! I have a les paul with p90's, I'm playing it with that tonight... I wish they would have showed less Linda dancing and more henry... it is an elegant and tasty solo!
