"Slippin' Around" by Floyd Tillman

There is a discussion on another guitar forum about Floyd Tillman, and one of my all time favs of his is "Slippin' Around". That song seems like it would be ideal for some chord substitutions and extended chords (not just a I-IV-V7 kinda thing).

Does anyone have changes for that tune?

Thanks

This is nothin' fancy; just chunk-chunk with some movement. The C chord in bar one, and the F chord in bar 2 can be played as a regular old F-form; I just like this one.

(In the second line of tab, the G7 walking up to the C, the second chord is named F, but is not functioning as IV chord; it is just a passing chord. You could just as well call it some type of Am based chord.)

My pleasure. What other forum are you referring to? Sounds like one I should check out.

Yes, I am a member over there; it's one my favorites because the high level of music discussion, and the musical interests are much like my own, although I am not as reactionary as some of those cats, and really do like a lot of this new hot rod stuff.
