Classic Country Rhythm Tracks
Anybody ever use the ryhthm backing tracks sold on this site? He sure has some really cool tracks. I believe they are steel guitar backing tracks, found them on the Steel Guitar Forum. I hope they are suitable or other instruments as well. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I got the Western Swing set and the Country Set (the bottom two on his list) a few years ago when I was into steel. Since have used them on with my tele and they're pretty cool. They come with a nice bound booklet with easy to follow chord charts and a CD you can play on a CD Player. Some instructional CDs nowadays can only be played on a darn computer! The recordings are pretty basic, band in a box type stuff (piano, bass, drums), but fine for practice. Nice relaxed tempos and very easy to jam over. Looks like he's added a lot of back-up packages. The new ones may be recorded a little better. You can download the tracks to an iPod and connect the iPod to your amp, if you wanted to use them as backup tracks for performing. Sounds kinda fake, but also non-intrusive, leaving alot of room for your solos.
