This Life - Sons of Anarchy theme song

Hi there!

This song is great . .



So we'd like to play it with our band. Found some "how to"s on the web; they seem to be close, but not perfect.
How would you approach that song, especially the acousic part?

I would think you would want to approach it like Curtis in the last video. He is capo'd at the fourth fret and playing a D shape (minus the E string note). He is opening and closing the third string/second fret for the movement (you could also use the 3rd fret of the 5th and fourth string for movement). The rest of the song is holding the D shape and walking the bass.. the walk resolves to a G shape.. wash, rinse repeat.
