New jazz lessons

Ryan guys, I'm featured on 2 blogs from the UK this week.

Check out the "Hidden Melodies" article on www.mattwarnockguitar.com for a different look at guide tones.

Also Play Green Dolphin Street Like 3 Jazz Guitar Legends at www.jamieholroydguitar.com. Transcriptions of Jim hall, grant green, and Barney Kessel.

Enjoyed the blog about guide tones Sam.
Building melody from all of the chord tones doesnt get enough airing (compared to all of the scale/chord stuff). I agree, the fifth is often the lame duck in chords - but its a powerful melodic pivot - as is the 9th. One of the most rewarding parts of the Lydian Chromatic study is learning to hear/play all of the diatonic fifths in a (lydian)key.
