I'm Going Down - Springsteen

Hi guys

Anyone know this track? I thought I had it down on the acoustic as:

A. E. F#m. D

However have just played it against the original studio recording and it is not working. I read on a popular tab forum that it was capo'd so have tried that too but stil doesn't work

It's such a simple 4 chord track, I am quite embarrassed to have so much trouble

Any help is much appreciated

Roy

I hit a version over on youtube. Those chords would work capo 1. I got Bb, F, Gm and Eb in standard no capo. The Eb (or D in your case) is not an open chord. It is a slide up 5 chord. The recording sounds like it is still lowered a few cents...it was either mastered that way or the youtube conversion screwed it up.

Just think I V vi IV - You can play it in any key you want. If you're singing it find the key that works best for you. Sometimes recordings can be frustrating if they're not playing back at A440.

I read somewhere Kind of Blue was messed up when it was released. The remastered version has been corrected.

Thanks Fellas - think you are right that the original is at an odd pitch as i have now seen a live vid where it is clearly capo'd at 1.

thanks for the help!
