Intro on Toby Keith's, "How do you like me now?".

I'll be danged if I can get the opening riff correct on this one. It repeats several times throughout the song. It's some sort of sliding chord movement and sounds like there's some thick reverb added as well.

I've got a 'working' version down, but heard some kid play it perfectly in a guitar store awhile back(Too stubern to ask). It's puzzled me since the album's release.

I'll be able to help with a lot of questions here in the future, but I just had to finally find out the correct way on this one. Just to put my mind at rest.

I also wanted to see how posted tab will look on this board. Thanks Everyone.

Well, I tried the Gtr.1 intro for "Sweet Home Alabama", since it's a fairly common piece. It went pretty well. I reviewed the post a couple times as I went.

I started by making six lines using the dash(-) key. Then I went back and filled in the notes. I only did 2 measures at a time, since that's all the space that's allowed when drafting. I didn't have a charactor for the hammer-ons & pull-offs, so they had to be replaced with "h" & "p" istead. And what would be a good way to show a bend???

The first time, I placed the key signatures where they belonged above the bar. After hitting "review", they ended up next to each other like this, "DCsusG". I then used periods to separate them.

This was my first attempt at this. Maybe others have some tips they could share.

Try using the tab software at www.tabledit.com.You can do the tab on their demosoftware and then use the import function to convert it to a .txt file in order to post. I haven't figured out how to post it in the internet yet. I think I'm going to buy it and check the manuel within the next couple weeks, so maybe I'll figure it out further. Until then, try the tabledit and see how you like it. Also, could you e-mail me your country tabs. I got a new site up at www.countryguitaronline.com, and I figured I could store some of the tabs from this site. The site isn't anything fancy, so don't laugh yet. Ward

Also, I see the stuff I did the other day is all messed up now. The end of the bars run into each other. It looked right in the previews and the first time I looked at the new post. Oh well.
