Tab request: Lipstick Traces by Snooks Eaglin
One of my fave songs by a great singer and guitarist. It's an automatic mood-upper for me.
Unfortunately I can't quite figure out or see what he's playing here. Any help appreciated! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdMDexoMSlc |

Hi,
Snooks in that video is playing a chord progression you'll also hear in Ray Charles' recordings a lot: Caug, F, A7, Dm, Dm7, Cm7, F13, Bb, Bdim, F, D7, G7, C, F, C7(or in his case he plays a riff here). That's the basic chords to the first section. He plays many of the roots with his thumb on the 6th or 5th string, and often walks the bass notes in between the chord roots (like Ray does on piano). Good luck, I hope this helped!

There was info on this a while back back on this forum. Search "snooks" to find the post titled "does anyone know what run snooks is playing here". I tried to post a link but it didn't work.
