Hammer ons in little wing

---------------------------|-----------3h5p-3--3------|
------------5----5---------|-------------3-----3------|
----------5h7----5---------|-------------0----------4h|
--------5----------5h7\----|--------------------------|
--5h-7---------------------|---------x----------------|
-------------------------2/|--3------3------------3---|

How can you hammer on from playing one string to three strings. I see the 3h5p3, but if you are only playing 3 to begin with how do you play 3 and 0 on the other strings? Is this a notation issue or a technique issue?

Thanks

PS this is SRV version

You would just pick them while hammering on the 5, trying it quick I hit the 3 (low E) with thumb, 3 (high E) with my pinky and then the 3 and 0 with ring and middle while hammering on and if I had a pick would just pick the 3 and 0 while hammering on. It's more of a technique issue, theres lots of ways to get it done and alter how it sounds just by how you pick it, unfortunately I'm not real familiar with the song, been forever since I've heard it so can't say how I would play it to try to get close, but probally not the way I tried just from seeing the tab.

Just play around with it till you find a way thats comfortable for you or until someone leaves better advice here, also practicing hammer ons/pulloffs from barre chord positions is useful in general too.

Try the accurate Power Tabs of the Hendrix and SRV "Little Wing" versions with midi playback:
