Anyone out there understand relative minors in major keys without getting into heavy dutie theory? Tryin to get ye ole lapsteel sound.

is just remember Amin is the relative minor to C
C=1 D=2 E=3 F=4 G=5 A=6

so what ever key your in just count up 6 scale steps
and you got the Rel minor.

i:e "G"

G=1 A=2 B=3 C=4 D=5 E=6
so Emin is the rel min to G

just remeber your sharps and flats
and i think thats it , er right?
