Can you help?

Billy Swan's "I Can Help". It's one of those songs that people either think is really cool or the corniest chunk o' cheese they ever heard. I like it! Does anybody have tabs for Reggie Young's intro work on this?

Thanks!

Uh... I can help (maybe). ;-)

Man, Reggie always played really *cool* stuff, didn't he? What a great player. :-) IIRC, the intro goes up and down augmented arpeggios descending in whole steps. And it's a twin part, isn't it – two guitars? I used to play it with a band way back in (mumble, mumble..) :-\ and I remember it was a real b*tch figuring it out.

I'll see if I can download a copy and listen to it, and then maybe I can put up a TAB in the next day or two. Meanwhile, play around with augmented chords moving down two frets at a time and see if that helps. Best of luck, CS

YEAH BUDDY!

I'm amazed when I go through and read musician's credits on my CD's to see how many of 'em Reggie played on! Waylon, George Strait, Merle, Hank, Dobie Gray, Elvis ... all-around cowboy of the tele!
I'll play around with it tomorrow if the wife don't work me too hard. LOL! Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks!
