Song structure mental block - Wichita Lineman

I got Band In a Box the other day and started fooling around with some simple chord entry to get used to using it. I tried doing Wichita Lineman but for some reason I'm having a mental block with the song structure. I figured out all the chord changes but I can't seem to divide them up into a regular structure. Like where does the intro end and the verse begin/end etc.

I could just enter the chords linearly and Band In a Box would probably figure out the structure, but it's bugging me that I can't do this myself. There's something sneaky going on in there, like an extra measure or something.

It does have some odd bar numbered sections. 7 bar and 6 bar phrases.
This is a rough chord chart not in the original key but it may help(?) ...

Hmmm, interesting. Thanks much for the enlightenment. I guess the odd lengths kept throwing me.

Here's how I hear the chord changes, in the original key:

Code:

Intro

Fmaj7              Bb/C               Fmaj7            Bb/C

/   /   /   /  |   /   /   /   /  |   /   /   /   /  |  /   /   /   / |

Verse & guitar solo (3x)

Bbmaj7           Am7                Bb/C                Dm7     Am7

/   /   /   /  |   /   /   /   /  |   /   /   /   /  |  /   /   /   / |

G                  D

/   /   /   /  |   /   /   /   /  |   /   /   /   /  |

C2                                   G/B               Bb6

/   /   /   /  |   /   /   /   /  |   /   /   /   /  |  /   /   /   / |

D                 A7sus              Bb                C2

/   /   /   /  |   /   /   /   /  |   /   /   /   /  |  /   /   /   / |

Bb                C2

/   /   /   /  |   /   /   /   /  |

Ending

Bb                C2                 etc.

/   /   /   /  |   /   /   /   /  |

I do this tune in G - but with Jimmy Webb's changes (he does it in F on 'Ten Easy Pieces')

intro
||: C / / / | D(maj9) / / /|C/ / / |Dsus || C/ / / | G/B/ / / | Am7 / Dsus / | Em7 / Bm7 /| A(sus)/ A /|

E / Eus / | E / / /|| D / / /| / / / / | A/C#/ / / | AM/C / / /| G/D/ / /| Dsus/ / /||

| C/ / / | D(maj9) / / / |C/ / / |Dus/ / /||

This is an approximation of Jimmy's piano voicings which are beautifully cryptic in places(whether he meant to or not).

Probably my favourite tune ever - I do it "frisell' like with my trio but I just found Ben Monder doing it too...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZascMOE42Tw complete with the "da dah dah da dah" intro -which Jimmy doesnt do.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlEpKhSHTyQ

not as clean as Glenn - but Jimmy wrote it.

I'm still experimenting with the style choice, but the one I'm using now is Z4POPBAL, at 90 bpm. I also changed my Bb6 chord to Gm/Bb, per Klaisane's post. I think it sounds "more correcter".
