Sugarfoot Rag tab? (Hank Garland's)
Does anyone have or know where I can get tab to Hank Garland's original version? I have one and it's all wrong, it's in the first position and judging by video he plays it at the E position in A. Thanks, this is one song I really want to learn.

I did one of Brent Mason playing it. It looks to me like he is playing the melody in about the same way as Hank Garland. It's at Countrytabs.com

I have read somewhere that the Brent Mason version is the only one that Hank Garland gave the 'thumbs up' too before he passed away...

Thanks, JP. I checked that Hank Garland video again (easy on the delay there Hank) and on second thought the two versions are pretty different. B.M. kinda streamlined the melody to play it at a fast tempo.

I wanted to tell you that Hank Garland played his "Sugarfoot Rag" in the key of A. I will tell you someone that really knows how to play it. Go to Hank Garland's my space and write to Roger Hardin. He grew up with Hank Garland and Hank taught him to play "Sugarfoot Rag". He would feel honored. He is our dear Friend. Please tell him Billy Garland sent you. He is a great Christian and please thank him.
