Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm wondering if anyone is using a software looper that will do the same thing as a Boomerang or Boss RC-50. It would need some kind of a foot controller that would connect to a laptop computer for live performance .
Any ideas would be appreciated!

Mobius is what you want.
It is incredibly powerful.
I prefer hardware solutions myself, I use an Gibson/Oberheim Echoplex.
Mobius is essentially 8 stereo EDP's in a software package.

Thanks for posting this! Opens a new world of music, or at least creating sound.
I can't seem to work out how to create anything bearable with it. Do you have any pointers to tutorials? Can't seem to find a lot in Google.

I rolled my own in Max/MSP but that mobius looks nice if all you want is a full featured looper and the price is right (!). Very cool that it seems to work both as a plug in and also as a stand alone and bonus: it is cross platform. Nice.
