Intro to song I am composing on guitar in midi
Hey! Just a piece I've been writing for a little while.
The first 3 notes of the intro are the motif that i kinda try to build on for the intro but i'd like to do more with it. Also I dont know what i'd do after the last part I made this into a midi so you could hear it. If you need the guitar sheet music or drum tabs let me know? :). heres the link http://www.2shared.com/file/8306322/...In_Eminor.html |

Sup man..hey I thought that was really good.Very melodic and I like it where you briefly had some counterpoint ya know two melodic things going at once.Good riffage.tasteful.
I guess I were to suggest some things that would be you know on the double pick part on the solo I'd only keep the first two measures of that, leave off the third part of it and do something else instead..I know when you are composing sometimes you can't really see the forest because the trees. don't wanna be riding a deadhorse.<-------my problem. lol Didn't really hear any wild cool bends or harmonic dive bombs might try some of that see if you like it. I would definitely try some unison bends perhaps. Another cool trick is to do open string Rhoads type licks where you alternate between a fretted note on let's say From the E minor scale with an open high E string, has a cool sound to it. Every thing seemed to be in E natural minor didn't hear no harmonic or melodic minor you could throw that in there for a slightly differently feel..or just some plain old E min penatonic "Iron Maiden" style..You take care.. |

Hey man no problem.I'm up late tonight trying to figure out how to get my gnx4 with pro tracks plus to do the
midi drum wild thang, and I'm about to pull out the rest of my hair!! I listen to it again, and wanted to add that I liked that little pentatonic run right before the double picking on the solo and wanted to hear some more of that cool counter point stuff.. Yeah man you can combine the harmonic minor things with blues runs and can wind up with a Mean leads like Slash did on "Sweet child".later man Last edited by Ridge runner; October 9th, 2009 at 06:18 PM. |
