What's that lick on Gimmee Three Steps
I have been faking it for years. Need to get it right. It's that little lick right after that half-step descending riff: G, G, G, F#, F, E. I know that little "ascending" riff doesn't come in until the second time you play that descending G riff. But what is it? I just can't hear it. And is Rossington sliding into those notes, hammering, what? Please?

Are you talking about right after "What you tryin' to prove?" It sounds like a E pent major scale, with a slide up to the G#, a slide from the B to the C# and a hammer-on from B to C# on the way back down: E [F#~G#] [B~ C#] E [B(h)C#] B. I'll listen with a slow downer and see if it's something different. There are two guitars doing things there, but one is doing this or something very close.

That's not exactly it, but I have to go eat. I'll post what I think it is when I get back.

Okay, here's what I think one of the guitars is doing:
E|---------------------------------------------------------------| B|---------------------------------------------------------------| G|---------------------2------------------------------------------------| D|--------------2-2h4----------------------------------------------------| A|-------2-2h4--------------------------------------------------------| E|-0-2s4-------------------------------------------------------------| Hope it helps.

No, I just slowed it down and listened a couple of times. I actually think he might be doing those same notes, but a little different and adding a high D so he can go back to the D (main) riff:
E|---------------------------------------------------------------| B|---------------------------------------------------------------| G|--------------------7------------------------------------------------| D|--------------------7---------------------------------------------------| A|-------2-----7-7h9------------------------------------------------------| E|-0-2s4---4s9----------------------------------------------------------|

Amazing Slow Downer. I recorded it with Audacity, exported it as an mp3, and played it on ASD. I don't really even know how to use Audacity to transcribe.

Put it in the lyrical form, if you haven't had it answered.
