Many of us know Don licks, but it would be cool to reposit them here so we could find them and also reduce what he is doing to make them moveable across many songs.

What do you think? I'll start some that I know and we can all add to them as we learn new stuff....
This is a great Idea!
Count me in!

Here's the 'main' part of Chapparal

Code:
-----3-2-0---5-2-0-----------------0-3-3-2-0----
-----------3-------0-2-3---------0-----------3--
---2---------------------------0----------------
-0---------------------------2------------------
---------------------------2--------------------
-------------------------0----------------------

----------------------
-------0-2-3-3-2-0-2--
-----2----------------
---2------------------
-0--------------------
----------------------
Following that you'll play D, C, and then A if you're going back into the 'main' part, or D, C, A then D if you're going into the staccato part.

Just to mention the fact that the in the 1969 Hee Haw version of Buckaroo on this thread, the steel player is JayDee Maness who played the haunting solo on Clapton's Tears in Heaven.

Don't forget JayDee's excellent work with the Desert Rose Band!

I must admit, as much as I am not a fan of 99.9% of country music, Don Rich and the Buckaroos really puts a smile on my face. Wam Bam is such a cool song.
