Both are correct. Which one to use depends on the sound you want. Typically the b9 will be higher up in the chord/arpeggio, so it doesn't muddy up the bass.

In some situations, context determines how to voice the arpeggio. Sometimes you will want to connect the individual notes of one chord with the notes of the next chord. But sometimes a arpeggio is a standalone thing in itself. Yes, even then, pay attention to the top and bottom notes and where they are going to.

It is the tradition in Germany to denote the note B by the letter H. The Bb is denoted by the letter B. Not sure how this system evolved.

In Europe we used to write the tone names a bit different from the American way, your B was our H and your Bb was our B. I guess most of us have left this european style and are now using B and Bb......

I have always liked the melody from the notes c-a-b-b-a-g-e (and I make the last three notes longer).

Somebody made this error sometime in history and we got stuck with 2 systems, a h c d e f g and a b c d e f g. its a shame because it make things more difficult. a b c d e f g makes more sense.
