Truck Drivin Man intro tab???

So anyone got the Twangbanger's or Redd's version of this worked out? It sounds pretty simple but when I sit down to try to figure it out I'm lost. Help please?

you mean the first few bars?

the begining is the bottom three notes of an e maj/e7 chords. e major, and pull off to e7. the banjo-type part is a hammer on on the g string, with the b and e played open. first , 2 fret to 3 fret hammer on, then 6 to 7 hammer on, with the same open notes.
just play around, and it'll be really obvious.

So, what you're saying is:

E ------> E7

0 ------- 0
0 ------- 3
1 ------- 1
2 ------- 2
2 ------- 2
0 ------- 0

And be playing the bottom three notes, I'm presuming you mean the bass notes correct? Sorry to ask such a simple question, but I wanted to make sure I was clear on it. It looked like in the video Redd was doing more than that to me, but it didn't get close enough on his fingers for me to tell either.

then hammer on 2-3 on the G string, while allowing the b and e strings to ring out, and then finally finally 6-7 fret hammer on while still allowing the ringing???

the e7 i use is different. just lift your finger off of the d string from an e major. You are only playing the d.a and E. strings-all bass notes.

the other part should be a hammer on from 3 to 4, then 6 to 7- my mistake.

this is the intro from the live dvd.
