What kind of stuff?

I have a little survey (very short) on my site, just to get an idea of what people would like to see more of, in terms of styles or types of articles. I hate to call them 'lessons' because that would make me a 'teacher', which is a stretch

If you get a moment, please stop by...I always like to hear feedback! (the good kind)

On the menu, click 'Guitarnet' to go to the survey and the rest of the articles.

Mr. McNiel, you are far too modest. I've just listened to your music and read some of your blogs for the first time. I really dig your stuff. Tele, Shred, Flamenco, and Gypsy Jazz all at the same time... Very inspiring! You rarely hear that kind of fusion done on a Tele... Nice job!

Please let me know how I can get a CD of your music.

Thanks JayFreddy for the kind words...I don't have a CD available at the moment but if you go to the Marna & Macy site their latest CD is available, which I played on.
I'll get off my butt and record a proper CD one of these days!

HELLO TDPRI?!

I can't believe no one else here has commented on this thread. I am not affiliated with Mr. McNiel in any way other than I appreciate good guitar pickin', and we're both members here on TDPRI...

This guy is GATTON GOOD and the REAL DEAL, IMHO...

Check out his music:

ps. Sound clips aren't playing correctly in my Firefox browser, MSIE works fine.

Guilty of not commenting this thread up until now. I did the survey a few days back though, but I just didn't think there was much to say about a survey...

John's lessons (that he doesn't want to call them) are excellent though. I hope appreciation shines through when I comment on them. John, that lesson on alternate picking rhythm a while back was a real door opener. It was also one of those "I don't know why I didn't know this before" moments. Thanks!

Thanks guys - I appreciate the kudos. I like having the site to share stuff and hopefully help someone out there. The survey thingy will just help me see what people are looking to learn about.
FreddyJay - thanks for letting me know about the firefox issue - I didn't realize it wasn't working...will have to fix!
