I don't know if any of you ever had this problem but for some reason I can't play strats other than the one I owned for so long.
My Strat is a 1988 Squier Silver series 62 model in Lipstick Red, I bought her new at my fifteenth birthday and used her eversince in every band I played in. Recently, having played my dear old strat so much has started to show ugly heads and I knew I had to retire her. But for some reason, I just can't keep the other strats I buy. When I bring home a strat and start playing it something inside goes "This isn't my guitar" Resulting in me selling it again.
And in the long run this problem has lead to me switching to playing Telecasters and a Three pickup Tele/Les Paul hybrid but I miss the feeling of my strat and feel bad that I can't pull it out anymore.
I guess eventhough I play telecasters and such on stage I'll always will be a Stratman.
