Fender Strat Pickups
I recently purchased a strat pickguard with pickups claiming to be a USA Fender from the 1990's. The pickups have red, white and blue wiring and the number on the pickups starts with a 7 I think. I can't look at them since it'already installed. The poles are flat not staggered. Nothing says Fender. Can anyone shed light on this. Thanks.

Start pickups fom the early 90's should be flat so that's a good sign. I believe it wasn't until they started making the Strat's with Corona California on the back of the neck plat did they switch to staggered poles.
As far as the color codes, I can' remenber but you may be able to fing that on mr. gearhead! |
