which pickup routing for my next superstrat?
I'm digging the idea of a San Dimas style superstrat (i.e. rear routed, no pickguard) for playing a variety of rock, 80's rock and pop in my friend's cover band, but I'd like your advice on which pickup routing I should go with.
Minimum requirement is a bridge position humbucker, but it would be nice to have a single coil in the neck (like a Dimarzio rail pickup) Here are my possible choices: http://www.kneguitars.com/pu_rout_ops.php I'm leaning towards the stuff that has an angled pickup like the ASxH, ASxAH, or the AHxAH. What do you all think? |

I would do the AH x AH and have a switch on the tone to split the coil of the neck.
It the split wont give you a proper fender single coil sound because it has less windings on each coil, and has diffrent magnets. |

I'll email them to see if a dual angled HB configuration is possible. |
