At the end of practice last night, my lead guitarist said "you've got to play this before you go..." He wheeled out his d*mn-near mint 1970 Vibrolux that he bought new, WAY back. I plugged my MIM Strat with TX Specials into it and the thing sang! ~Drippin' tone!~ We cranked it up to 10 and we all were still able to be in the room with it. It's not loud enough for the places we play but you can jam a mic in it if you have to. What a cool little amp!

Vibroluxes are some of the most underrated amps around!

Everyone loves Super Reverbs but Vibroluxes are just a super with 2 less speakers!!

Way ta go!

They are both great amps, however the difference is quite dramatic in the department of Output Iron. The Super OT is nearly twice the size.

I agree; everone goes bonkers over other small gig tube amps (Vox AC-15, Marshall 18 watt , Watkins Dominator, DR ect.) and with good reason, but you never hear as much about the Vibrolux..a little louder than most of the above ...but not too loud, not too heavy "verb and trem in the later years, a real nice package esp if you prefer 10' speakers
