Voodoo Hoodoo
On the Voodoo pu website there is some explanation concerning the height of pu's. It's a starting point. Let your ears do the fine tuning. No doubt there are several ways to adjust them. Good luck!

A good way to find the right height for your strat pickups is to drop them all flush with the guard. Then start raising your neck pickup until you start to hear "wolf tones" when amplified. Drop the pickup slightly until they go away. Measure the height of the pole pieces to the two E strings with the guitar fretted on the last fret.
Raise your middle pickup until the pole pieces measure the same distance from the E strings as the neck pickup. Raise your bridge pickup until the pole pieces are 1/64" closer to the strings than the others. Works for me; YMMV |
