It seems as though whenever I play entergetically, I accidentally hit the 5-way switch with my picking hand. Anyone else have this problem?

I did, but switching to a Tele fixed that. :P

Alternately, you could use a pair of pliers to "fold" the switch over a la Danny Gatton.

I know that playing styles and struming habits are hard to break, but try moving slightly below the neck pick up. That way you'd be hard pressed to hit the 5 way. Or just shortening your strumming strokes.

Like Sarge said, I have just overtime adjusted to having my right hand over it, to just below the neck pickup. I never hit the switch anymore. Works for me 8)

Well the Sox are doin good!! The Patriots? Only they know what's going on. We're still trying to figure out the Vinatieri thing. It will be Football season before you know it. I think you guys will win it again. Enjoy the Summer!! 8)
