I read an article a while back about Mr. Wilsey's post-Chris Isaak project. It was an instrumental group called the Mysteries and the description of the band sounded way cool.Does anyone on the board know if this band ever recorded or if they are still gigging?

That's some deep Googling....!!

The Mysteries stopped being a band a few years ago... We never recorded in the studio, and there's nothing out.

I wrote several songs for that and heard them recently and still like them. My New years resolution is to get them recorded and get something new out there. Maybe even do a few live shows if I can find some players.

My home studio became the babies' room a couple of years ago, so I still have to work out some details....

I also will have a website of sorts in January, to start getting a mailing list going and some info as to progress.

WickedGTR... That album sure has some tasty bends on it.... Well Done!! You should get together with Richard Bennett for your next outing.

Please keep us posted when you get your website up! Please! :) On a real funny note (no pun intended), I was staying in Santa Cruz a couple of months back, was getting some ice from the machine in my hotel and ran right into Billy Idol in the hallway as he was leaving...nice guy...stopped and said hello after I pointed and said, "I know who you are"...which had us all laughing...not too often you run into guys with spiked blonde hair and British accents in a hotel hallway...
