Strat Plus.

I got one new in 1989 and have been playing it ever since. What does everyone think of them? I alway get mixed opinions. Some people love'em and some people don't liek them at all.

Just curious.

Sounds like Strat Plus owners love them and get great tones out of them. And people that haven't played them are not sure what to think of them.

Yea, since their conception I've never been with out 1 or 2. My hands down favorite of any guitar Fender put into production. While I never tried the red, blue, or silvers, I've always been pleased with the Golds.

Strat plus deluxe = crap !! IMHO
Worst Strat I ever had, it sounded nothing like a Strat. I sold it after a week and got a Strat plus which was infinitely better. A lot of people didn't like the gold pups but I thought they were okay at the time. The red-blue-silver versions were all wrong to me and made the guitar sound like anything other than a Strat.
