Has anybody put in a series/parallel switch?

And how did it work out?

I'm pondering turning one of the tone controls into a blend knob for the neck pickup, and making the already-installed mini-switch into a series/parallel switch. Good idea? Bad idea? Please let me know.

I can have the neck and middle go in series on one of my Strats (Deaf Eddie switch).

I really like the tone, kinda like having a neck humbucker, as with my Tex Mex pups the middle is RW/RP.

Well worth it for sure and easy to do with a mini toggle.
