I guess this is one way to go....

My cousin's son just bought a Squier MIJ Strat. I told him I would set it up and I took the pickguard off and found this! They could have done the cativity twice over with all of the cooper tape!

Not to mention it also isolates the electronics on the wrong side of the attempted Faraday cage.
