Best Pick Up Choice?

Hey Guys

Basically i want to try a set of the GFS single coils. I have tried a couple of the humbuckers for my Epi Les Paul and was more than blown away!

the pups will be going in to a Alder body strat with a maple neck. body crafted by my fathers joinery company based on the '62 reissue fender plans that are widely available on the web (the body is beautiful!). The neck was bought from http://www.axesrus.com/axecart.htm it is that honey gloss maple neck, which plays incredibly! I will be using an Vox AC30 unfortunately is only a modern one :( Still one of the nicest amps around!

I want a really warm sound in the neck. The beautiful legendary strat quack at the spilt positions. Also if possible a nice powerful bridge that sound fairly meaty with distortion. not too fussed about the bridge sound because i barely ever use it, but if i could get the above sound from it maybe i would use it more.

Here is an example of a warm tone that makes me tingle inside: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVS9CH_vs2s

Obviously i dont expect that exact sound from GFS pick ups, but that is the kinda tone i wanna aim for.

So guys!

Hit me with your suggestions! The main one i had bee keeping an eye were these:http://store.guitarfetish.com/Premiu...Set_p_630.html.

Thanks Guys, Cant wait for the responses!

I recently put a set of Tonerider City Limits in my strat that to my ears sound pretty much like your description of what you're looking for, full neck, plenty the quack in 2 & 4 and a hotter bridge. The entire set is very versatile with great dynamic touch sensitivity. They also work well with distorted tones.

They've got some clips on their site,

Not to my knowledge but there are probably some retailers that may. I swapped mine out in about 20 minutes.

I'd like to try a set of the City Limits too, lots of love for Tonerider from my reading. Seems like good quality pickups for the money. Below is one place I found them online, I think they can be found on ebay too.
