NGD Squier strat / Ibanez Roadstar II neck

Got my hands on a brand new Squier Strat SE for $80. Really didn't like the neck (poor fret work) so I put on my 20 year old Ibanez Roadstar II neck that I got at a show where the previous owner smashed the guitar on stage. Luckily the neck and hardware were still salvageable. The only issue was a small heel chunk that I had to repair and it's strong.

Guitar is an awesome player. Great feel, perfect action. Next step will be some new pups / electronics and I'll have my strat! Been looking for a deal on a burst for a while and this one just fell into my lap. Heck, it even had the plastic on the pickguard and pickups still!

Thanks rangercaster. It was a surprise to me as well.

I'd love to find more of these necks. It's as if it was made for that body.

Just trying to decide on what pickups I want. hot rails, texas, etc.

Ibanez Roadstars of that vintage are gems (pardon the pun). My 1985 RS135 has stood the test of time, I would never sell it.
