well not strat, squire jagmaster!!

hey all
just wanted to write a quick post here on my spanking new jagmaster...boy!

went to the city to have dinner with the girlfriend, came home with another guitar....and yes i know its honeymoon time but, i played the sucker for an hour in the shop and it seriously awesome!! i have 15 guitars and have sold many over the years so not new to the instrument buying process, but dang

i was in the shop and im like, this is too easy to play, just found out its a 24inch neck...jeez why dont more fender have this!?!

everything is just 'there' with the shorter neck! as for build and finish, top notch too, the neck feels like its straight off a usa standard tele, no cheap wood feeling here and the same finish, satin?...plays and sounds amazing, might put the antiquity buckers i have in her just cause i love them and there more single coil sounding, but for now im a very happy dude

heres what she looks like:

love the swithcing & knob positions too, easy to adjust too after the tele!

be good to hear if anyone else has picked up one of these?
laters
adam

unless yours is a squier vista from 1997-98, it's not a shorter scale. the one in the link is the newer 25.5 scale and not made in japan. i bought my squier vista used about 10 years ago and i love it to death. strangely, mine has the bullet trussrod ala 70's while other's have the adjustment at the butt of the neck. no one seems to know why they came both ways.

Are all the Jagmasters, the Squire Brand? There's one cheap on my local CL and I'd love to take a crack at one.
