Strat Volume Knob -Grolsch Washer

Like some other players I have a problem in touching the volume control whilst playing and inadvertently changing the volume setting.

Yesterday I forced myself to drink some Grolsch beer so I could obtain the red rubber washers to use as straplocks.

Then I had an idea! EUREKA!

I removed the volume knob, put a Grolsch washer over the pot shaft (bump side up) and replaced the knob.

Now the volume control is firm to the touch and doesn't accidently move from the setting I want.

Hey I happy was to force myself to drink Grolsch Beer.It got me out of my comfort zone and got me ready for my numb zone.
Now please explain about REAL beer but don't rely on regional predjudice.Australians are familiar with beer.

Use as strap locks (as per the Joe Strummer Tele build thread) thread gives you two more bottles......and hey if you got a few guitars!!

The olde method was to put a felt washer under the knob...

The drawback is you don't have to force yourself to drink beer.

Guitarists who have to force themselves to drink beer!? lol

If it were true, that would either be an oxymoron or a moron
