Callaham Bridge for MIJ Strat

Hey all,

I own a 1989 Fender 70s Reissue MIJ, and I've heard amazing things about Callaham Strat bridges. I'm just wondering which one to get though as he makes stuff for American and Mexican spacing, but not for Japanese. I know this is an awfully specific question but I just wanted to see if anybody might be able to help out.

Assuming it is a vintage correct reissue it will probably take the Callaham vintage Strat bridge.

I doubt it is. I've actually had a good amount of trouble finding out exactly what kind of guitar it is and I've owned it for like 9 years. It's definitely a 70s reissue, bullet truss rod and large headstock, but I would have no idea how accurate it is to vintage specs. I can't imagine it was all that accurate.

The Vintage S bridge is definitely what I'd want if it would work.

You may well be surprised. Check measurements first though...

Post some pics of your bridge.

Hmmm. After reading this thread, I feel like I lost 3 minutes that I may never get back.
