I cannot believe the build quality of this strat. It beat my 5 year old MIM strat that I got rid of because I couldn't stand it. I have a hard time putting it down.

you are fantasizing if you believe the title of your post! It should be "my collection is almost complete, but I'm not sure what else I need yet"

For someone with a limited skill level, Owning 3 electric guitar is enough

I used to think along very similar lines. First I got a strat, a post-CBS 1989 MIA Strat Plus. Then I got a Tele, a 2000 Nashville Deluxe. Then a 1985 Tokai Love Rock (Les Paul). Or maybe the Tokai came before the Tele.

In any case, I figured that with these three, I would never need another electric guitar, not only because this trio pretty much covers all the bases (for solid body electrics, at least), but also because my skill level is also rather limited.

But then I signed up at the TDPRI . . . Now I have over 15 electric guitars, most of which are Teles.

Skill level remains pretty much the same. I just no longer use it as an excuse not to buy more guitars (provided I find a nice guitar for sale, in good condition, at a good price -- I'm still not crazy enough to just buy brand new at full retail prices, with only rare exceptions such as for a CV Tele at $279).

Nah - just tellin' it like it is. I was figuring I still needed one with P-90s, one with full-sized humbuckers, maybe one with old-school nocaster single coils....then I threw a set of GFS NeoVins in a buddy's Squire Bullet hardtail Strat and thought, "Dang, I think I need a Strat too!!"

So, how ya fixed for stompboxes, mon ami? Amps?

Sometimes, I wonder if we'll all wind up in a 12-step group someday talking about our gear addictions and the relationships and fortunes they destroyed....

Well. I was thinking that the CV 60's is going back to the store today. I have 30 days no question ask to return in and I will take it. The nuts is binding and the tuner are really bad. The pickguard as also a scratch. I didn't notice at first.

Anyway. I have decided that I will order an Agile-2500 with 3/P90 pickups. Its the same price as the squier.
