Squier II mods?
Picked an old MIK Squier II stratocaster as a 1st time project guitar. Tightened down the bridge to keep it in tune, but sounds like the pots and switch need changing. I was considering a bridge and tuners change also. Any help on what kind would help. What tuners would fit in same screw holes, would I need both string trees, etc. Been looking on guitarfetish. Cheap ways to make upgrades. Is this the way to go? Should I wait on the pickup change until I hear how it sounds after all this? What have yall done?
Thanks |
