Show Me Shoreline Gold w/ Tortise Shell Guard
I've got a 60's strat body in shoreline gold. I wanted to do something a little different. I was thinking of putting a tortise shell guard on it, but I'd like to see what one looks like first.

That was a Champagne sparkle of some flavor or another on a body that I had for awhile.
I did get a bit carried away with the tint on that neck. I parted that one out. Body's gone to another home, parts and neck are waiting for a body transplant. I'm probably going to sand the neck down and refinish it again with a lighter touch of tint. It's just a tad fat for me and I need to remove a bit of wood to make it fit my hand properly anyway... I dig the colors, but that body was just a bit too dense and heavy for my personal preference. |

That's purty. I've got a Lonestar Strat from '97 in shoreline gold, and have always wondered about tortoiseshell instead of pearloid...I might have to give it a shot after seeing this...swapped out those Texas Specials for WCR SR singlecoils, too...
