I ran across this ad on Ebay while I was up and couldn't sleep.

Has anyone ever seen a strat serial number that started with EE? It looks kind of like some tampered with the serial number, but I thought I'd ask.

EE serial numbers are on models made in the Corona factory to export from the U.S. between 1985 and 1988. The item location is just outside Buffalo, and about 20 miles from the Canadian border, so it's a safe bet that Strat was originally sold in the Great White North.

Cool. I'm just guessing that the other E might stand for Export? Thanks for the reply. I've never seen one of these before.
