Anyone know if you can still get an Elite pickguard complete with the switches pre-installed???
Also, are the pickup holes in the Elite pickguard too big for regular-sized pickups? Obviously, I'm trying to get the Elite switching system on a standard Strat, if that's possible. I think they should have gone to the Elite buttons on all Strats long ago...any combination is possible. Thanks, Scott |

I doubt Fender still has any on hand. Judging from this picture the pickups aren't the same size. This site seems to have the correct switches. From reading "The Stratocaster Chronicles," I don't think an Elite pickguard would fit on a non-Elite body; something about the lower horn being bigger than on a typical Strat?
