Does anyone here know what Dave Renson is doing these days now that Pat Ramsey (RIP) is gone? I just found out about him and wish I'd known a long time ago. Can't find any Pat Ramsey and the Blues Disciples CDs either. Looks like a Strat, but probably a custom with no decal on the headstock. Anyone know about that?

LOL, yeah he finally just went with the bald look before he passed away. Thanks for the keen eye on the decal. The pickups look like Barden or one of the other rail types so I figured the whole guitar might be custom.

I'm living in New Orleans and fronting my trio "Major Bacon" . Former Blues Disciple Eloise Davis is my bass player and we still do many of the songs i did with the late great Pat Ramsey. Currently, the CD's " The Blues Disciples Live at the Big Bend Blues Bash" and "It's About Time" are available as downloads from CD Baby and i'm having "Big Bend Blues Bash" pressed as we speak. There should be links on Pat's website http://www.patramsey.com That purple strat was one i put together w/onepiece light swamp ash body and Joe Barden pickups. It's now set up for slide with Evans pickups. My black strat is a Fender Japan 60's re-issue with a SD alnico pro 11 neck, Joe Barden middle, and a Fraline P92 Bridge pickups.
