1954 reissues....
anybody played one? .....seen one?....just wondering.

Which ones are you talking about?
The new ones the 2004 50th anniv or the ones the CS made in 1999? or the ones they made in 1996 on Fenders 50th year in business or are you refering to the current 54ri's you can buy in Japan they have been making those for years. |

Well, my guess is that you meant the new, high-$$$ 50th anniversary 1954 RIs.
I've not played one, although I did see that MF has them for about $2K under list.

I dont know the exact number but my guess is less than 1000. Alot of special made parts bakelite pickup covers knobs etc its gonna be an exact replica. Fender says after these are made no parts will be sold as aftermarket so they arent gonna be making too many is my guess.
