please help identify strat specs :)

hi guys
been playing around with with old mex strat and remembered how absolutely awesome it is.... but alas i actually dont know too much about it...i had to wind my CV tele pickups up to get a similar output (which actually works great on the CV if you like gainy harmonic output:)

anyway the strats a mex, serial MN2 060302 (i think this means 92?)...sparkle wine / deep maroon color with maple neck, i always wondered if the finish is a respray cause theres a few chips and the paint underneath is white, plus the finish has a few spots that look worn through on the lower horn for example, which i think is just thinner paint cause i never touch there

if anyones had a similar strat, or know anything about them that would be cool!

as mentioned, its plays briliantly, nice neck inc finish and HOT pickups!
