Not to criticize, but do you treat all your guitars that way? A strat is a good guitar that is deserving at least of being wiped off once in a while. Ughh. Your cats used the case as a litter box? How in the heck were you treating those cats? The more I read this, the more turned off I am. I hope the cats found a better life somewhere.

Drinking problem? No. I get drunk, fall down, no problem. Except when I carry my caseless guitar around. Ouch. Yeah, my wife looks like that and no the abuse was never intentional. Honest, Officer.
Man, I feel bad that I wore big buckles when I was skinny and wore some finish off of my strat. 30 years on the road it looks pristine by comparison. I sure would have used a case and made sure it didn't leave the van at any speed. I guess when you don't care things can happen. When I was a poor guitar player I had to take care of my tools so I could always work. I don't think I'd give $200 for it as is.

Ha! Sorry, I thought you were posting it to show how abusive you were. I thought all the abuse comments were directed at myself but since I'm a moron I guess I had it all wrong. I forget sometimes that I = you. Or maybe you're the one with a reading problem.
Nice reply by the way. With friends like you..........

The OP's post had some pictures and background to a heavily worn 80s Japanese Squier Strat he owns, which apparently used to belong to Robert Cray. Both Strat and case had been subjected to some abuse throughout their ownership. Then the whole thread seemed to go pear-shaped for some reason.
Move along please, nothing to see here...

I had posted a few pictures of a stratocaster I own and also gave some history on it, explained some of the battle scars on it and somehow someway I've become a wife beating drunkard who doesn't know how to take care of a guitar, breing it is quite beat up now. So, I pulled my posts.
read the above posts and maybe you will understand why I've backed out of the door I walked in. thanks
