Oly white is classic, blizzard Pearl is more a modern color. Both are nice so you can't go wrong with either. If I bought the Oly white I would have to put a tortise pickguard on which I think is a very cool touch and it brings out the color much better than the white guard.

I've seen the blizzard pearl (tele & strat) and it would be my pic.
I haven't seen a picture on the net that really comes close to it's true effect. Very nice, especially for a strat.

I like both. If it were me, I'd probably go with the Oly white.
Although, have you seen Fender has released a few limited colors? Fiesta Red, Daphne Blue & Seafoam Green- all with matching headstocks. I've been wanting a daphne blue strat for a long time... sure wish I was in the market ;) Enjoy your search (and new guitar)! ~Randy |

Blizzard Pearl is one of those finishes like Inca Silver - it looks kinda dull until stage lights hit it and then it comes alive - both colors contain something metallic that looks awesome under stage lights.
When I see my Inca Silver Robert Cray under fluorescent light, it looks like a slightly greenish battleship grey, but under stage lights its a gorgeous reflective platinum. Oly White is a classic - but if I was playing out (and I do), I'd get the Pearl with a shell guard (and I did). Max

Fender has re-released Foam Green? Can you tell me where you saw it? Foam Green is my favorite Fender color and I've missed a few of them over the years (the Custom Shop guitars at places like Wildwood and Dave's are pretty pricy).
